Dear Dad,

It sounds like it got to you in time, but in case it didn't, I posted this picture of your birthday present.  I hope that your birthday is a great day.

I also just wanted to say that without your your hard work and your support, I would not have had the curiosity, courage, and in many cases ability, to do many of the things that I have done in my life.

Can't wait to hear more about what you're working on.
